Your task is to buy different weapons and then place them strategically along the path. These weapons will automatically explode the balloons. Try your best to prevent the balloons from reaching their destination. The battle in this game is endless, so you will spend all day trying to destroy as many balloons as possible.
Although this new part retains the original gameplay, the weapon system in the game has been redesigned. In this game, you can use new weapons such as ice towers, mortar towers, explosive pineapples, glue guns, monkey beacons, monkey glue, etc. These weapons have new powers that can destroy harder balloons.

This game features two types of tracks including expansion tracks and premium tracks. You can select between 4 expansion tracks that are suitable for beginners, intermediate players, advanced players, and experts. Meanwhile, there are eight more complex premium tracks. If you want to get premium tracks of Bloons Tower Defense 4, you must use your coins.
Like Boxing Physics 2, this game also features many game modes. They are Easy Mode, Medium Mode, Hard Mode, Sandbox Mode, Apopalyse Mode, and Deflation Mode. These modes are suitable for different types of players.
For example, you can start with Easy Mode, Medium Mode, and Hard Mode and try to reach rank 32 to unlock the three remaining game modes. These game modes offer more challenging fights with special playing rules. Besides, this new edition allows you to select between 6 specialties that have an influence on the costs of weapons.
